I hear good and bad about comfort but most of it is ex GI's that had to lug around ammo clips, radios and weapons.
I'm a civilian and really dig the look of the alice pack. I like it's replacability. If the straps get worn out, you just get new straps, not a new bag.
I want a bad that can work as a good EDC bag but can also sustain me if I ever needed it for a long term survival situation.
I won't have a frame attached to it at all, just the bag and straps.
