the secret of why summer is a fucking shit tier season is because YOU CANT COOL DOWN. in the winter i can heat myself up, i have complete control over thermoregulation because of gear and food.
the summer takes away all of that and tells you, if you dont have a shitload of water to drink youre fucked son, good luck trekking 50km a day in 30C weather.
you can wear all of the sunscreen/sun protection and drink all of water you possibly needed, no matter what you will always be doing less than in a better season.
personally i just save up for better weather.
