I am a fiend for organic matter and carbon. I'm inside the village limits so I do have to mow, couldn't let it get long enough to scythe without the village gestapo hassling me. I usually transplant everything, but as I scale up i move to alot more direct seeding so it's great to get a gauge on how deep other anons mulch with direct. This is my first year gardening this space so there are always trials and tribulations.
