After the 4th bridge it was another short snowy tredge until we reached the lake which was still frozen over in places. There were 2 other people up there who we met earlier on the hike and they took some photos for us. After a short chat they left and we set up camp. First things first, I needed to crack open a beer. carrying that cooler up i had so many moments where I wanted to ditch it so I could have my hands free.
