HR, huh? How's that working out? My friends in HR tell me it's essentially putting up with a lot of corporate bs.

I have a few things in mind to still have sort of an /out/ job while staying in the IT field. (GIS, setting up networks in remote, rural locations, participate in geological/ecological research projects and work in an IT role). I just need to escape Chicago first.
