>>947164Seems to me that it would be a lot more effective if it the majority of the weight was in the blade, but that might make it too short, so maybe if it had a stick attached to the side of it, so you'd have something to hold on to. Then that would allow you to swing it, which would actually be more effective than batoning. See if you find a chisel that looks more like pic related, that would work better.
