A flashlight is a tube with a LED and a button. The Chinese are more than capable of pulling this off, this is something they can hardly fuck up, and you'll get much brighter LEDs than from some brands.
I myself got a small Ultrafire flashlight, cost me 2€ shipping included, and it's near perfection. My only gripe is how the button kinda works the other way around, lightly pushing it is enough to turn the flashlight on even if it doesn't click, making it likely to turn on in a bag if the slightest thing pushes on it.
But for that price I won't complain.
