Went with this 45lbs American takedown longbow from fleetwood, probably paid too much for it but so far getting back to into shooting has been like riding a bike. Feel so natural and so satisfying to use nothing but the feel of the bow and make a perfect shot.
Never used a compound before, the sights seem really interesting but I think I want to get a recurve bow or a horsebow.
Not totally sure what's the best deal for a solid one, I've heard mixed things about alibow and they take a long time to ship so I'm not sure if I wanted to jump into that.
I'm really craving a solid recurve, though, something under $300 would be really nice.
