>>2494622I made the choil with a ten dollar harbor freight belt sander. I took my sweet time and dipped it to not fuck the heat treat. Also used it to get rid of the thumb ramp, give the front a more bowie looking sweep. The scales were modded with a 1 dollar soldering iron, is more grippy in hand with out having to spend as much for micarta scales do. So yes, I was being cheap about it, like I said it's a great poorfag option.
