shes a Chinese city dweller whos never actually ever been /out/ . this Christmas in we had a bonfire and she asked us if a fire in a fire circle this big would be safe and she told me shes never been camping.
I decided to change that and we both bought backpacks and gear and we starting backpacking. of course our first time was in normal camping areas during the spring , but I was happy to see how well she got to making fires and tieing knots
Dogs on the other hand I hate to take out unless their smart farm dogs , their just too noisy and also useless and more trouble than their worth.
