MRE's are like any other military gear. Cheap and sturdy. They last a long time and they get the job done but they're a lot heavier than civilian gear. Freeze dried meals (civilian gear) are only barely more expensive and in many cases cheaper, don't last quite as long, but taste better and are higher quality.
Use whichever one you fucking want, this isn't fucking /b/, it's past all your bedtimes.
