>>429422>>429441Got distracted yesterday, & haven't done a trip since October so I had to search for some things, but here's my touring kit, more or less (shitty phone pic sorry)
-Spare tubes
-Multitool
-Glue-on patch kit in a mint tin wrapped in duct tape (lasts longer than glueless), I add some sandpaper or emery cloth, better than the standard metal thingy to rough up the tubes.
-Folding allen key set, with chain tool
-tire levers
-8/10mm wrench (fits most things on my bike that need a wrench, but bring stuff that fits your bike)
-Fiberfix temporary replacement spoke (kevlar string & some fittings in a plastic tube)
-Frame pump
The rusty crescent wrench thing is a Cool Tool, has a chain tool in the handle, and tapered jaws so you can adjust wheel bearing cones with it, don't think they make them anymore but if you see one old-stock or used, get it. It also came with allen keys and a 15mm socket with wrench flats for crank bolts, but I don't need those for my current bikes.
The stubby 15mm is for the wheels on my city bike (not quick release) I just put it in to show another place to store duct tape.
The box of bolts has M5 and M6 bolts and nuts (most common modern bike sizes), a spare SRAM powerlink to repair a broken chain, and a couple of spare allen head crank bolts just in case.
I also usually carry some bailing wire/ stove wire which is great for fixing stuff I can't fix with duct tape.
Only thing I've never needed yet is the crank bolt.
