I actually didnt know the spot where I was camping. A friend had recommended I check it out. I also didn't have a map as the one I ordered from amazon didnt come in time so I was more or less playing it by ear but I grew up in the lakes so I was confident I wouldnt get lost. I was able to recognise the spot from pictures on Google images and from google earth which I had looked at the previous night and it began to come into view as I descended Dale Head.
The route I descended via was also hella steep so I look forward to taking that one on again soon.
The spot is just below the centre of this picture. As it came into view I was relieved to find no bugger else had pitched there.
