I don't carry (or own) firearms. Probably largely related to growing up in no-gunz-land (MA), but it hasn't come back to bite me yet and I've spent over a year of my life outside, alone, unarmed. Maybe a ~6 inch knife, but that lives deep in my bags and I wouldn't know how to defend myself with it anyway.
I won't get into Bigfoot talk here, but let's just say I'm a firm skeptic.
