If you ask the rednec/k/s you'll get the wrong kind of answer. If you're outside every day then asking about a good /out/ related EDC is relevant.
I like multitools myself, comes in handy because I usually ride my bike everywhere within a 30km radius & cut through the woods on the way home if the option presents itself (I've even used the saw to clear deadfall on the trail). But if OP just wants a good knife and something to pry, how about a Spyderco or an Opinel, and a pry tool on a keychain?
