I like bringing multiple rods and my whole bag (plus the bag of soft plastics) just because it settles my autism. I'm normally close to my car anyway, so I just set my stuff on the shoreline and walk around with a rod or two rigged up with whatever I'm using.
I also recently grabbed this 3600 box and it sits on top of the 5x3700 boxes in my bag. I loaded it with a handful of stuff I use a lot, so I can get away with carrying just that around. Or when it is in the bag, I can just pull stuff from there instead of digging through the other boxes.
