My dumbass idea worked. I cut 20 feet off the front of a 12 weight line, welded a loop, and put on a 96 grain tip. I now have an interchangable tip system on an integrated head for overhead casting with the fly rod i built.

>>1870844You do. Track down some long shank hooks, size 8 or smaller, put it 2 feet under a small bobber, with a small splitshot half way between the two. Bait it with some small pieces of worm, maggots, wax worms, or similar. Cast next to some weeds or rocks or tree branches, let it sit for 5 minutes max. If you dont get a bite, check your bait then put it somewhere else.
