>>1644946but very cold water really does make my teeth and throat hurt, i can't even properly brush my teeth if the water's too cold, not to mention the brain freeze
i do have enamel erosion from clenching my teeth and brushing too hard/often as a kid, but even in summer i can't understand people who drink directly out of the fridge, your tonsils should swell up, your stomach should ache from the sudden temperature difference and extra work it has to do heating it up
i also don't get people who upon coming inside from the cold don't undress and in means of public transportation just stay as they were, not even unzipping their jacket and removing their hat
but this is probably more of a western urbanite thing, they've usually removed their tonsils because it was a fad back in the day and are so used to ac everywhere and being warm all the time they don't bother dressing appropriately since outside means only the short distance/time-span from point a to point b, both extremely heated
they're also always complaining how high the cost of living is, especially during winter, because they somehow feel it's normal to stay in boxer-shorts inside when it's freezing outside and even a long-sleeve t-shirt is too much of a hassle
