For water procurement, i would rock-boil my water in a wooden bowl. For food i would dehydrate my meats and berries (whatever edible foods). The two books would be a medicinal plant book, a tree guide and if possible a book on edible plants. I would replace the cigarettes with a nice pipe and pipe tobacco for the occasional campfire smoke. I would also craft a bow-drill long before my flint wears away. Flannel and jeans is for spring and summer yada yada, toothbrush for dental hygiene and when the toothpaste runs out, i'd make some charcoal paste. To be even cleaner, the shovel is for cat holes and whatever can be done with a shovel. I would even make my own soap using lye and tallow if i were to bag me some large game. I would also use some of the tallow to keep my tools protected from the elements.
