I took a closer look at some of the fruits and it appears to be more specifically climbing nightshade. I've got one plant interlaced up the deck that's easily two meters plus in size!
The entirety of the fence is swarmed by them. They appear to be perennial usually, not sure if they handle Minnesota winters.. They're so widespread that I'd say the last homeowners cultivated them if weren't for the fact the entire yard was swarmed with weeds and uncared for.
I've pulled most of their competitors. Deciding if I want to water them... they do look pretty with that red fence.
Half tempted to make a pie of them and not eat it, just to say that I did.
