>>1313581Spent 4 years in Australia, NZ and Canada working on rural farms while slow travelling and enjoying a lot of /out/ activities. Favourite /out/ place: Tasmania.
Now I'm working as a software developer in a mid sized corporation in the UK. But on the side I'm doing consulting with juicy retainer fees. I'm also renting a room in a house and saving half my take home pay. My hope is to save up a lot of cash and keep up some consulting work on the side so I can travel/hike a lot. Maybe emigrate to somewhere rural in Eastern Europe (I know it's often shit). Not sure.
Would love my own 20 acres and a family somewhere, probably not in the UK.
Also a conservationist friend of mine might be able to get me a dogsbody job visiting a number of remote coral atolls late next year, it pays just a stipend but everything is paid for, perhaps that would count towards making money from an /out/ lifestyle.
