My guess is that if I lived elsewhere, maybe I;d have a differet perspective on waht the rain gauges mean and I'm going to have to test this out when going somewhere else but yeah, here in SoCal, the readings are definitely off because when it rains, it RAINS, and when it doesn't, its dry as hell! maybe thats why I think the readings are off on those gauges?
