>>1567902Have you hiked through the forest in snow time? Or gone through deserts? It is obvious that it depends of the situation you're in. Hiking, fuck, even walking in winter full of snow boots are a must.
I'm not saying I'm against barefoot, or less when hiking. For those faggots who think they can't hike barefoot, it is possible with proper training and mindfulness. You wouldn't just go out as a retard. I've gone hiking barefoot at the Southewest deserts and it's amazing. Just don't go turning or stepping on big loose rocks or Scorpions will pop up. I've done it in winter, autumn, spring. For winter in the north I use hunter's boots with good sole and extra pair of socks just in case.
Also, has anyone hiked on beaches. I can't decide what's best. Sneakers are ok but they're a hassle on dune-type of areas, barefoot is ok but not quite for long distances. I've never tried flip-flops, too pleb for me.
