Good morning. Can anyone recommend me a good plug for casting? I only use hot n tots and wiggle warts, which dive 8 to 14 feet'ish in my river. I stand upstream of a run or hole and cast downstream and slowly crank them through the hole. Usually if a fish is in the run it cannot resist the vibration/flash. I would like to try a new lure, perhaps a kwikfish or maglip... I occasionally will do this technique with floating rapala if the run is very shallow or if there is a ledge I will use a sinking jerkbait to twitch along it.

>>2778934Pink trout magnet. The fish will be very pressured and I've had great success at stockerfest shoulder to shoulder with 50 anglers not having any success where I will have success because I use pink trout magnet. The slow falling 1/64th jighead does something..

Skid remember I emailed you about summer run steelhead in Ohio? Pic related is a fish I caught on August 25th in a lake st clair tributary... we had a week of cold night temps, that dropped the river to about 55f. Then it rained. It pushed the fish in early. Then it heated up to 90 the next few days and no rain for 30 days. Water dropped a few feet. So I guess summer run fish are possible, just needs rare weather conditions. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. Perhaps I willed this fish into existence.
