>>81657I'm 18 years old.
Having spent 2 years of my life revolve solely around playing world of warcraft, and another two if not more spending all my free time on the computer, I think I've come to realise that there simply is not anything that comes close to going outside and experiencing the things you see on the internet in real life. Anything on a screen is simply a low fi reproduction of something that should be grasped through personal experience.
And I don't mean just the classic nerdy beta faggot who comes out and socialises with people and gets laid etc. I genuinely receive more satisfaction these days just from being outdoors and looking at the beauty of the world than I have ever done from seeing shit on a screen.
I feel kind of retarded that it took me so long to understand and be appreciative. And there are millions of people my age and older, who we've been talking about in this thread, who still don't get it.
I think that the generation following me, with a new vast array of technology like tablets and HD consoles etc etc, is going to be even more unappreciative of personal experience, let alone the outdoors.
