In case of sleeping on the ground in the Fjellduken, it goes under the legs. When hanging the hammock, it'll hang off one of the trees/posts. In lazy times it might end up on the ground, giving all kinds of wildlife a chance to infiltrate my baggage. I'm still wondering what that little baby slug was thinking when it woke up 600km away from home in my bathroom when I cleared out the toiletry ziploc bag I put on the ground outside, kek.
