>>473043I used to get harassed by dogs on my walk home from school when I was in grade school, and I kinda learned how to deal with them. At first I started picking up a pocketful of gravel from someoene's driveway and throwing it at the dogs, but later I just started ignoring the dog right when it first started barking and it generally would stop on its own.
From my experience, the dog tries to startle/frighten you, and if you act like nothing is wrong and you are supposed to be there, walking through what the dog sees as its territory, it won't really try to stop you.
If you cant get that to work, a pocket full of rocks works too, friend!
