>>2723134Hey OP i have used a poncho as a shelter multiple times where i use the setup in picrel. But with the opening for the head tied up so no water leaks in and the opening lower to about knee hight. A rope can also be tied to the capuchon and a tree to give it a better form.
You can also use a slightly different setup. Where you use tent pegs in al four corners and use elastic rope in the more inner eyes so its more sheltered against the elements.
