Going for August Lakers and browns tomorrow. My idea is to jig the thermocline with a white tube. Wish me luck I'll probably get skunked.
>>1578848>shore fishing for walleye For most places that ends in june, but I've seen a fellow pull 26" fish out of a river from shore. If you can cast out to 15' or deeper with a worm rig you can catch fish, but may as well at least get a yak. Rivers are your best bet if that's out of the question and it has to be deep. Dam overflows are good places. I've seen people work those with a heavy drop shot or pickerel rig with a worm. Expect lots of whatever the most common panfish . Mr. Twisters also work on a jighead.
