Unless you're faced with non-stop rain for your entire camping trip, you
aren't going to be hanging out inside the tent, making all that size and
weight (and effort to set up/take down) useless, as you'll just be sleeping
in it.
On the other hand, if it's for a 1-2 week deer hunting camp with several
guys during Oct-Nov-Dec, the large internal volume can come in handy
but if that's the case, you're better off getting a specialized (and sturdier)
hunting tent.
