Went down to loudonville and then millwood fishing today. I got pic related on my backwards bug in loudonville, he was 28 inches. I hooked and lost two other smaller ones, and spooked a few as well, but that's bound to happen. Then i went to millwood, got a dink smaie, and mostly spent my time there practicing my single hand skagit casts. Worth 14 hours and a tank of gas/10
>/blogpost>>1564569Avidmax.com is where i buy a lot of my shit because free shipping over $25. Some B10S stinger hooks in 2/0 and up is a good foundation. Some white danvilles 210 deniere white thread and a griffin bobbin which is a nice streamer thread in general. Find a way to hold your hook (you can buy a proper vice if you want for between $20 and $300 or probably make a bench vise work with these big hooks) then all you really need is a white bucktail, pearl krystal flash, and maybe some strung white saddle hackle. If you want to get fancy you can add some grizzly hackle saddle and eyes to the list but that's your call, i dont think the fish care as much as we do. That is basically all i used for my variant of a deciever, not that you asked.
