I want to have plants in an enclosed space where overwatering will be a problem (can't just let it get all over the ground).
I don't want to buy expensive pots, I'd like to go for bags like pic related if possible.
Any recommendations for avoiding drainage problems? I don't want to spend $200+ on a fancy self-watering system. I'm thinking something like a massive tray would be the simplest/cheapest option, but it would have to be very big (e.g. 1.4-1.5metres width, 3-3.5metres length) but I don't know where I could buy something like this, or even what it would be called, and the dimensions are important. I'd just manually water and let any excess water fill the tray. I also don't know if that would be similar to the plants being waterlogged. Any ideas of where I could buy this, or common search terms?
