last 15 years i've gone between traditional backpacking and ultralight and that's where i'm at right now. light not ultralight.
picrel here's an example of a feature rich and only like ~140-150 gram medical kit that fits in a ziplock i put together the other day because my old one's adhesives were getting crusty. its missing one or two things the drug store didn't have so i listed them under. i'd add vaseline to it too, but i keep vaseline soaked rayon/cotton balls in my fire kit anyways.
just as an example showing some tricks i use to save weight/space without compromising much/any of the capabilities of what i'm bringing.
