Mom snagged a reservation for Yosemite spur of the moment thing. Went for two days when I was home visiting. We obviously didn't camp or backpack as it was last minute but man it was nice. First time I've been to the valley in years and it was very minimally populated. Went and hiked a few times both days and no one was there anywhere. The popular places near the valley river and stuff of course, but there were parking spots open wherever I wanted and weren't shoulder to shoulder with annoying asian tourists. The falls hike was empty as well. Normally when we go we just go out to the less popular places but not gonna lie, really enjoyed seeing the valley of the park without it being fucking packed like disneyland.
