>>1558069III-IV is doable if you're able bodied and your guide is experienced. That's what most tourist whitewater trips are rated at (class I-II is scenic floats). The big things are to always listen to your guide and if you fall out of the boat don't try and swim the rapid. Flip over on your back, point your feet downstream and use your arms to steer yourself to slower water and/or the bank so that it's easier to recover you. Most trips will run with a safety boat following behind in case they need to pick someone up.
