I'm about to finish my Paramedic degree here in Sydney, Australia.
The state service is likely to place me in a small town several hours drive from the city for at least my first year in the service. I'll work a rotating roster of something like 5 days on, 5 days off. So with my days off I can drive back to Sydney and stay with my brother for free. I don't want to be paying rent for a property in the middle of butt fuck no where, so vanlife kinda makes sense...
Anyone done this in Aus? Will doing it with a big 4wd wagon like a Nissan Patrol or Landcruiser be much worse than a hiace or something?
