I raked the old mulch off a section of my garden and planted basil by scattering. My lawn must have went to seed while I was on vacation and raking the mulch got the grass seeds into the bed, I'm not even sure how to begin to deal with this. Also, the grass in this small area is FULL of yellowjackets. There must be 30-40 yellowjackets in my small yard all the time. I am tempted to put out a hornet trap but they are massacring every cabbage worm I get. My kale has never been so free of holes and caterpillars. I'm torn if I want to put out the trap or just let them continue to protect my brassicas
