There are game fish species in the creek during the summer, but they would grow too fast, so I don't keep any of the lmb fingerlings, pike fingerlings, or baby crappies that end up in my minnow trap. I started trapping crayfish and fatheads for bait use, but that was slow as balls and not a good use of time, so I started to keep the neater stuff that went in the trap
