Drop tracks on your ride, download them when you get home. I keep all my tracks in with my photos, the way I archive them it works real well.
What's nice is when I ride somewhere, then go back there a few years later, I can pull up tracks from when I rode there last and kinda figure out where things are again.
When I'm racing enduros on the bike, it's neat to be able to see my speed and lap times. Helmet cam gives me better info to review for sno-x/hill-x.
