Newfag trying to learn fly fishing. Im confused with these measurements with the leader as compared to the fly line. Also my flies have a number next to a # sign. Idk if that’s supposed to indicate a size or what. Im aware it needs to be the correct size with the leader or else itll fuck up the presentation. The video im watching about it is using measurements like 0X-6X and im not following. Pic related is what im using. Believe they said this fly is for bass but I may be mistaken. I have a 5wt rod and 5wt fly line
