I inherited a hooded one and loved it, but got too close to some sparks and melted a bunch of holes in it. Can't afford to buy a new one, and they all seem to be made of non-fire resistant synthetics anyway.
I'd like make a new thicker one out of some blankets for lounging around camp and cuddling in. Figured I could also lengthen the cape bit to fill that gap between my body and pack that I use a modified poncho for currently.
