Putting in an a-frame helped keep the cucumbers out of the lawn this year. With the tomatoes in fabric pots it is a little difficult to anchor the cages, so I have them tied to the fence. I wanted to get more large cone cages this year, but stores are only carrying shitty ones made out of thin wire.
Most of the beans are done, and since I couldn't find any bean seeds I decided to give peas a chance. I made a shallow trough and filled it with potting soil to help keep the seeds moist while they germinate. And put up some mesh for them to grab onto.
