First day on the water with my new canoe. First time I've canoed since I was 15. I was slaying sunfish left and right. I haven't caught any panfish at all this year and today I caught ten in about an hour. One of the spots I would unhook a sunfish, cast out, and get another fish before the hook even hit the bottom. So much fun. I left my live well at home, this was really just a trip to refamiliarize myself with paddling, but next time I'm bringing a bunch of the those bluegills home for flathead bait.
