It was a good time just hanging out and scoping out the lake. Even had some mad lad in a biplane fly out over the lake and start doing barrel rolls, stalls, and flips right as I got to a cozy spot and cracked my beer. Saw some heron's, greater scaup(?), mallards, buffleheads(?), a lot of Canada geese, some birds I couldn't identify, and two lesbians who thought they were alone and out of sight across the lake. Shit was SO CASH. Perhaps you should look at getting a spotting scope. I've found it's great to see the wildlife (and sultry lesbians) closer than the binos can get you. Draws a lot of attention though, which can be good or bad depending on what you're out for.
