>>2716179Compared to back-in-the-day MEC they suck. You used to be able to find made in Canada gear fairly easily at MEC. When the board decided to go globohomo and use Chinese manufacturers, their old Canadian suppliers either sank/disappeared, or started branding themselves as the high-end. Integral Designs/Rab, and Taiga are still around and still make very good stuff if you want a taste of the old MEC. They used to make some of the stuff sold under the MEC label, but are now double or triple the price as back then.
