Fill your cookpot about 3/4 full of water and bring to boil. Pour rice and beans into pot, let boil for a couple minutes while stirring. Lower heat/move pot further from fire, allow simmer for something like 15-20 minutes while stirring occasionally. I usually just spoon a bit of it out and try it to see if it's done. Add fish when it's few minutes from being done. Entire meal is like $3 and it's filling as fuck.
