>>2380531>I’m more interested in the efficiency for time savings, and in cold conditions can be more difficult to heat up a large mass too. Fuel usage not too worried about, but it would save more fuel on any burner technically vs a Soto with a toaksFor winter, same deal. It's not necessarily about the time, it's about the amount of fuel you use. But it will save you time, because it is more efficient for the same fuel used; less heat is being lost to the atmosphere.
If you already have a general setup, you can get an attachable heat exchanger, pic related
>If I make the windscreen out of the bottom of an aluminium foil tray (much thicker than regular foil) I could enclose it more, that would also make it more efficient as well than just a piece of foil?Nah all you need for a windscreen is to block the wind. You can get "heavy duty" foil in the baking aisle of the grocery store too.
>it’s likely to rip/tearthe point about foil is it's no big deal if it tears, you replace it after gets too crinkly every couple of trips
>>2380547>Step back and ask yourself if you really care about speed. I feel like it’s a false metric, and was only every brought up because mainstream sources don’t consider weight to be an issue.this anon is right.
