We do not age slower; we age faster. While our life expectancy is rising, our healthy life expectancy is declining (pic related). We just have better medical technology to keep people alive for longer. We absolutely are not becoming healthier as a whole.
While rate of aging is related to chronic stress, there is no indication that the modern human in the first world is under less daily stress than an average paleolithic hunter-gatherer. Sedentary lifestyles, poor diets, and modern city life in general all lead to chronic stress.
