Since this is normally the use case, they are almost always single hooked in the front of the lip and come out easily since they weren't gonna swallow it anyway. Crank baits also have them because it's pretty likely that the bite is going to be from a pursuing fish and the constant retrieve pressure prevents it from being choked I guess.
