Lakes are full of dead and decaying animals/plants, tons of germs and bacteria and parasites, all kinds of animal waste, and whatever toxic shit leeched into it from the surrounding soil. It's not a contestable point. Sink your feet into the mud on the bottom of a lake or pond for a minute and tell me your shit isn't itching to fuck when you get out, it's water full of gutter sludge.
